Two Successful Multiplier Events by Emphasys Centre in Cyprus for Autism Includi
Emphasys Centre successfully organized two impactful Multiplier Events in Nicosia, Cyprus, as part of the Erasmus+ project Autism Includi, aiming to raise awareness and promote inclusive practices for individuals on the autism spectrum, especially in the context of remote and digital learning.
The first event took place on May 27, 2024, at the premises of Emphasys Centre. It brought together 21 participants from various professional backgrounds, including special educators, ICT experts, caregivers, and psychologists. The event focused on the project’s aims, the structure of the online platform and e-courses, and the challenges learners with autism face in distance education.
The second event was hosted on January 31, 2025, at the venue “Yfantourgeio – The Workplace”. With a more extensive agenda and an audience that included special needs educators, higher education students, and caregivers, this event offered an in-depth look at the Autism Includi platform, featured case studies, and fostered dialogue through workshops and an open discussion on best practices during remote learning.
Both events underlined Emphasys Centre’s dedication to inclusive education and contributed meaningfully to the dissemination and future sustainability of the Autism Includi project’s results.
